Because of the unique characteristics found in Aquatic's algal oil, we have the ability to market our feedstock for the production of a variety of fuels. Compatible fuels include biodiesel, renewable diesel, biojet, and algae-based ethanol. Aquatic is pioneering the use of algae oil as a "drop-in" feedstock made for existing infrastructure including biodiesel facilities and petroleum refineries.

Aquatic has assembled a world class team of scientists and commercial algae experts. Since 2007, this team has designed, built, and operated three open pond pilot-scale algae farms in Louisiana. On these pilot operations, Aquatic successfully domesticated strains of algae using its proprietary methods and technology. With these methods, Aquatic demonstrated the ability to maintain a pure monoculture (99%) over 18 months at a growth rate of over 5,000 gallons of algae oil per hectare annually.
